Our General Surgery Department values safe, accurate, evidenced-based surgical management to patients based on a philosophy of putting the patient first with a focus on lucid communication, warm patient care and shorter hospital stays. As soon as you enter through our doors our crew will make sure that you know all you need to know about your procedure, diagnosis through post-surgery rehabilitation leaving you knowledgeable and confident enough to go through the process.

Convenience, as one of our major strengths, Seven Star healthcare has enabled all our surgeons, diagnostic facilities, pharmacy and follow-up services at our PECHS, Block 6 facility which allows patients to make less visits to end their evaluations, pre-surgery preps and ongoing care. The combined arrangement is time-saving but has other benefits since it can simplify the treatment planning process, mitigate delays and make the recovery process a less painful experience.

Conditions That We Treat

Hernia: Inguinal, femoral,umbilical, epigastric, ventral/incisional.
Gallbladder & bile duct Gallstones, cholecystitis.
Appendix: Chronic and acute appendicitis.
Breast: Infections, benign lumps, assessing and surgery of the cancer.
Gastrointestinal: Hemorrhoids, fissures, fistula, pilonidal disease, abdominal probs.
Skin & soft tissue: abscess, cysts, lipomas and minor tumour.
Thyroid & endocrine: Working jointly with ENT and endocrinology.
Acute problems: Ready evaluation and referral routes in regard to time-sensitive care.

Emergency: In case of conditions which require urgent attention (severe bleeding, chest pain, major trauma), one is requested to present himself to a local emergency department.

Procedures That We Offer

Laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery: Cholecystectomy, appendectomy, selected hernia repairs, diagnostic laparoscopy.
Open surgery: Advantage or safer to use Open surgery: Better outcomes are achievable.
Day-case / minor procedures: Drain of abscess, excision of cyst/ lipoma, biopsy, wound care.
Breast surgery: excision surgery and coordinated oncologic surgery and imaging and pathology.

Preparing for Your Appointment

Bring CNIC/ID, previous reports and films (USG/CT/MRI), current medication list.
If using insurance, bring your panel card; arrive 10 minutes early for verification.
Fasting may be needed for certain tests—our team will advise when scheduling.

Recovery & Aftercare

Many minor procedures are day-case with same-day discharge.
After laparoscopic gallbladder or hernia surgery, many patients return to desk work in 3–7 days (heavy lifting is restricted longer).
You’ll receive written wound-care instructions, pain-control guidance and a dedicated contact for post-op concerns.
